Built in a burst
Northglenn was developed as a planned community starting at the end of the 1950s, and the Census data shows most of its homes went up in the 1960s and 1970s. Similar houses mean similar problems: the same trim details fail in the same places up and down a block.
Third and fourth repaints
Many Northglenn houses are several coats deep. Before adding another, we check that the existing layers are still bonded, because a new coat can pull a weak old one off with it.
Mature trees, two climates per house
Older streets have big trees, so a north wall can stay damp and mildewed while the south wall chalks in full sun. Each side gets its own prep.
Small ranches, quick staging
Many original Northglenn houses are compact single-story ranches, among the quickest exteriors in the north metro to set up. The hours go into fascia, trim and window frames rather than wall area.
