A city of hardboard and lap siding
Westminster grew fastest in the 1970s and 1980s, and houses from that era commonly have hardboard or wood lap siding with wide trim boards. Edge sealing, replacing swollen boards and fresh caulk usually matter more than which topcoat goes on.
Wind off Standley Lake and the open fields
Neighborhoods around Standley Lake and along the west side catch steady wind. It dries paint fast enough to leave lap marks and carries dust onto wet film, so we sequence elevations around the weather instead of forcing a bad day.
Covenant communities with published palettes
Legacy Ridge, Bradburn and several newer areas have architectural review. We match the approved scheme or prepare a new submission before scheduling.
The south end is older
The southern neighborhoods near Federal Boulevard hold most of Westminster's 1950s and 1960s houses: small brick ranches with wood eaves and trim. Original trim there gets lead-safe prep, and window sills get a close look because snow sits against them all winter.
