Painter Hotline provides free virtual painting estimates across Colorado. Answer four short questions about the crew, scope, condition and timing, upload photos of the surfaces, and add any notes. A written estimate comes back within one business day, naming every surface, the preparation by surface, the exact product and sheen, the coat count, the schedule and the 5-year workmanship warranty. A site visit is your choice: most projects can be priced from photos, and a walkthrough is always free. Call 720-208-5645.

The tool

Four questions and some photos

Everything is optional except your name and phone. The more you give us, the tighter the number.

1. Which crew is this for?

Pick the closest. We will sort out the detail from your photos.

2. Roughly how much?

A ballpark is fine. Nobody is holding you to it.

3. What condition is it in?

This is the single biggest factor in what a project costs.

4. When would you like it done?

Exteriors run roughly mid-May to early October. Interiors go year-round.

5. Add photos

The most useful thing you can send. One shot of each wall or room from far enough back to see the whole surface, plus close-ups of anything that worries you.

Tap to add photos, or drag them hereUp to 12. Resized in your browser before sending, so large phone photos upload quickly.

6. Where do we send the estimate?

Written number back within one business day, usually sooner.

How would you like your free estimate?

Both are free and the choice is yours. Older homes, rot and color matching often go better in person; straightforward rooms are usually quicker from photos.

No obligation and no follow-up pressure. If a walkthrough would give you a more honest number than photos can, we will say so instead of guessing.

How it works

What happens after you hit send

  1. We read it the same day. Your photos go to the crew lead for that type of work, not to a general inbox.
  2. We measure what we can see. Photos plus the year built and your answers are enough to price most interiors and straightforward exteriors accurately.
  3. You get it in writing within one business day. Surfaces, preparation itemized by surface, the exact product line and sheen, coat counts, schedule, payment terms and warranty.
  4. If photos are not enough, we say so. Significant peeling, suspected water damage, stucco movement and commercial scopes get a walkthrough, because guessing on those would be dishonest.
  5. Then nothing, unless you want it. No follow-up sequence, no drip emails. You have the number when you are ready.
Questions

About virtual estimates

How accurate is a virtual painting estimate?

For interiors and straightforward exteriors with good photos, close enough to rely on. Condition drives price more than square footage, and condition is visible in a photo. Significant peeling, suspected water damage, stucco movement or a commercial scope needs a walkthrough, and we will tell you rather than guess.

How long does it take to get the estimate back?

Within one business day, usually sooner. That is a written estimate, not a phone call asking to schedule a visit.

What photos should I send?

Stand far enough back to get a whole wall or room in one frame, one per surface. Then close-ups of anything that worries you: peeling, cracking, water staining, damaged trim. For interiors, one shot per room from the doorway works well.

Do you need to come out at all?

Not for most projects. If the photos and your answers are enough, we price it and send it. If they are not, we will say so and arrange a visit.

Is the estimate really free?

Yes, and there is no obligation. We also do not run a follow-up sequence. If you want to compare it against other bids, take your time.

What if I do not know the answers to the questions?

Pick the closest option or skip it. The photos carry most of the information, and the notes box is there for anything that does not fit a dropdown.

Will my photos be used anywhere?

They are used to prepare your estimate and for project documentation. We do not publish customer photos without asking first.
