The December 2021 Marshall Fire destroyed hundreds of homes in Louisville and neighboring Superior. Many streets now mix brand-new construction with houses that survived, sometimes with smoke or heat damage on the side that faced the fire.
A rebuilt house and the original one beside it often need completely different approaches: new fiber cement and fresh primer on one, adhesion testing and selective scraping on the other.
Away from Old Town, the Census shows Louisville was built mainly in the 1980s and 1990s, so the typical repaint here is a 30- to 40-year-old house with original trim, cedar fencing and its third coat of paint.
Owners of surviving homes often want to coordinate with newly built houses next door. We can sample colors on your siding beside the new fiber cement so the two read well together.
